Life:
- Had no training as a designer and was originally hired as a sketch artist for Paramount.
- Became Head Designer at Paramount after 15 years of working under Howard Greer and Travis Banton and stayed with the studio for 30 years.
- After her contract was not renewed with Paramount, Head worked with Universal Studio until the end of her life.
- Head was sometimes loaned to other studios per the requests of their stars
- Holds the honor of being the woman with the most Academy Awards with eight won 35 nominations.
